The Wine route Valpolicella Invests in Sustainable and Digital Tourism Promotion

THANKS TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTRIBUTION

Thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce, the Strada del Vino Valpolicella Association has been able to implement a comprehensive programme of initiatives aimed at promoting the area, enhancing local businesses, and improving the visitor experience, with a strong focus on sustainability and digital innovation.

Thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce, the Strada del Vino Valpolicella Association has been able to implement a comprehensive programme of initiatives aimed at promoting the area, enhancing local businesses, and improving the visitor experience, with a strong focus on sustainability and digital innovation.

The project was developed with the goal of making Valpolicella increasingly accessible and attractive to both Italian and international visitors by providing updated tools to discover the area's outstanding landscapes, cultural heritage, food and wine traditions, and tourism experiences.

Actions Implemented


1. Updating and Reprinting the Official Tourist Guide and Map of the Valpolicella Wine Route
The official tourist guide of the Valpolicella Wine Route was updated and reprinted in both Italian and English, together with a new edition of the area map. One of the most significant additions was the inclusion of electric vehicle and e-bike charging stations, helping to encourage sustainable mobility and making it easier for visitors to explore the region in an environmentally friendly way.

2. Production of an Extensive Photographic Reportage of the Territory
To promote the sustainable enjoyment of the area and showcase its diverse tourism experiences, a professional photographic campaign was carried out, resulting in approximately 250 high-quality images. The photographs were taken both from the ground and by drone, capturing landscapes, vineyards, villages, outdoor activities, and iconic locations along the Valpolicella Wine Route.

3. Creation of Six Thematic Promotional Videos Showcasing Valpolicella's Excellence
Six promotional videos, each with a maximum duration of two minutes, were produced using both aerial and ground footage. The videos focus on some of the most distinctive aspects of the territory:

Olive Oil Tourism
Wine Ageing and Maturation
Grape Harvest and Crushing
Vine and Stone
The Appassimento Process
Valpolicellae 2025 Event
These videos were designed for publication on tourism websites and on the Valpolicella Wine Route's YouTube channel, offering engaging storytelling about the area's traditions, products, and experiences.

4. Production of Short Promotional Teaser Videos
To strengthen online communication efforts, three short teaser videos of approximately 30 seconds each were also created for social media campaigns and digital promotion activities. These dynamic contents help attract new audiences and increase awareness of the destination.

5. Development of Multilingual Editorial Content
The project also included the creation and publication of new multilingual thematic articles on the destination's tourism websites. These articles highlight itineraries, experiences, local products, attractions, and points of interest, helping to increase the international visibility of Valpolicella while improving search engine positioning.

6. Development of a Digital Marketing Strategy
A comprehensive digital marketing plan was designed to strengthen Valpolicella's reputation as a high-quality tourism destination. The initiative included communication analysis, strategic planning, and the development of targeted online promotion activities aimed at reaching new visitor segments and markets.

7. Strengthening Social Media Communication
As part of the digital strategy, a structured content development and scheduling plan was implemented for the Valpolicella Wine Route's Facebook and Instagram channels. The objective was to increase audience engagement, promote the area's experiences through high-quality visual content, and reinforce Valpolicella's presence within the national and international tourism landscape.

8. Printing of Thematic Brochures Dedicated to Experiential Tourism
Three thematic tourism brochures were reprinted to support the promotion of experiential and sustainable tourism activities, focusing on:

Equestrian Tourism
Cycling Tourism
Walking and Hiking Experiences
These materials provide visitors with practical information and inspiration for discovering the territory through slow and sustainable travel experiences, a rapidly growing trend in the tourism sector.

An Investment Benefiting the Entire Territory
The initiatives made possible through the Chamber of Commerce contribution have generated significant benefits for the local tourism system. The availability of updated promotional materials, digital content, and communication tools has enhanced Valpolicella's accessibility, visibility, and competitiveness in both national and international tourism markets.
